Warming up before a stove in the 24th Division Medical Clearing Station after being returned to United States lines by Chinese Communists, former prisoners of war are, left to right: Private First Class Robert B. Duncan, Dayton, Ohio; Private First Class Joseph A. Collins, Selmer, North Carolina; Corporal Lawrence Buckland, Sidney, Australia; Lieutenant Angus MacDonald, Brisbane, Australia (both of the British 27th Brigade); and 1st Lieutenant George E. Dowrie, Brunswick, Georgia.
