Description
Headquarters Far East Command Communications Center in Tokyo during Korean War. Interior of operating section of telecon room showing one of two identical sending and receiving positions. Standard Model 19 Teletypewriters are used for perforating and sending, while Model 15 Page Copy Printers, without keyboards, are used for receiving. The Model 14 Reperforator provides a means for monitoring enciphered traffic.
