Description

Taken from an unarmed plane piloted by Captain Edwards, 5th Air Force, during the Korean War. Helicopter (circled to left of wing) rescuing a pilot who had been shot down five miles behind enemy lines. Pilot Captain Robert Wayne bailed out of an F-51 at 1100 feet into a rice paddy.
